Kamala Harris Exposed: The Promises America Can’t Afford—And ABC Won’t Tell You

Kamala Harris’s Debate Performance: Empty Promises, Avoided Truths, and Media Bias

In the latest debate, Kamala Harris made several bold statements and promises that warrant closer scrutiny. While she appeared confident on stage, the substance of her claims and the feasibility of her proposals don’t hold up under examination. From gun control to economic policies, Harris repeatedly dodged accountability on key issues, and the media, especially ABC, failed to challenge her inaccuracies.

Gun Control Hypocrisy: Kamala Harris asserted during the debate that she supports the Second Amendment and isn’t seeking to take away Americans' firearms. However, past statements and video evidence suggest otherwise. In a previous interview, Harris expressed support for policies that would effectively remove guns from law-abiding citizens, despite her claims on stage to the contrary.

How mandatory is your gun buyback policy Kamala?

This contradiction is not just misleading, but it also undermines her credibility on a hot-button issue. If she plans to change gun laws dramatically, why not address it honestly?

Charlottesville and Media Narratives: One of Harris’s most striking moments during the debate was when she referenced the Charlottesville incident, portraying it as proof of Donald Trump’s alleged racism. However, this claim has been debunked by fact-checkers, including Snopes, which clarifies that Trump condemned neo-Nazis and white supremacists during his remarks. The media’s refusal to correct her statement shows a clear bias, choosing to let a false narrative continue.

Late-Term Abortion Misinformation: Harris also discussed abortion rights, with a specific focus on late-term abortion. She claimed that late-term abortions are rare and only done under extreme medical circumstances. However, Harris failed to acknowledge ongoing legislative efforts that could legalize abortion even after birth, as seen in proposed laws in certain states. ABC did not challenge her on this issue, even though this is a critical topic for many Americans.

Where it is obvious a woman is about to give birth and is dialating, does your bill allow a woman to have an abortion?

Fracking Flip-Flop: When confronted about her stance on fracking, Harris again attempted to mislead viewers. While she claimed to support energy independence and a balanced approach to fossil fuels, videos from previous speeches show her advocating for an end to fracking altogether. ABC also failed to press her on this significant policy flip-flop, allowing her to slide away from her earlier anti-fracking stance.

Empty Promises Amid Economic Crisis: Perhaps the most concerning part of Harris’s debate performance was her litany of promises that America simply cannot afford. She proposed new tax credits for homeowners, businesses, and families—initiatives that sound appealing but lack any realistic funding mechanism.

With the national debt skyrocketing and inflation hitting families hard, where will this money come from? Harris did not offer any details, leaving many to wonder if these are simply empty promises designed to win votes. The reality is that without new taxes or increased borrowing, these proposals are financially unsustainable.

Skyrocketing National Debt: The U.S. is already facing a national debt exceeding $33 trillion, and introducing more spending programs without addressing the debt crisis could severely impact the economy. Harris’s failure to acknowledge this harsh reality reveals a significant disconnect between her promises and the economic constraints the country is facing. Instead of offering realistic solutions, she presented a wish list of policies that the American people, especially the middle class, cannot afford.

Unchecked Immigration and Its Consequences: One of the most glaring issues that Harris failed to address during the debate was the impact of the border crisis. The Biden administration has overseen an unprecedented influx of illegal immigrants, many of whom are entering unchecked and unvetted. This has led to significant strain on local communities, particularly in areas like Aurora, Colorado, and Springfield, Ohio.

In Aurora, Colorado, Venezuelan gangs have reportedly infiltrated local neighborhoods, leading to a spike in crime and violence. Meanwhile, in Springfield, Ohio, immigrants are forming insular communities, failing to assimilate into American society. This creates a "city within a city," where cultural integration is neglected, leading to a disconnect between these communities and the larger American public.

While Harris speaks broadly about immigration reform, the real-world consequences of unchecked immigration are devastating certain parts of the country. Communities are overwhelmed, and law enforcement is often powerless to manage the rising tensions. Yet, Harris and ABC sidestepped these concerns entirely, claiming there was no evidence of what was happening in small cities like Aurora Colorado and Springfield Ohio.

Kamala Harris’s debate performance showcased a pattern of empty promises, misleading statements, and media protection. From gun control to fracking, her positions were either inconsistent or unsupported by the facts, yet the media failed to hold her accountable. Her unwillingness to address the severe impact of unchecked immigration on American communities further illustrates a troubling disconnect from reality.

As voters, it's important to scrutinize these claims and demand transparency, especially when our economy is fragile and trust in government is wavering.
