To fully understand what is happening, and will continue to happen as long as the American public remains comfortably unaware concerning the actions of their politicians it is important to note this is not a story about the Beverly Hillbillies. The characters were not poor mountaineers trying to keep their families fed.
The characters in question are lifetime politicians who have been in Washington for nearly a half-century. So, having the ability to conduct clandestine deals is most likely a common affair. Regardless of intent, these people need to have their affairs transparent, especially in dealings that affect national security or national interest.
According to publicly available information, from June 2015 to December 2016, the Obama administration cleared 43 of 46 Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) transactions involving Chinese acquisitions of electronic and pharmaceutical companies, with a 93.4 percent approval rate. Among them was a technology company named Bohai Harvest Investment Fund. Specializing in Technology Engineered Systems. Their target was Henniges automotive. Hennings had an anti-vibrational technology that would be excellent in a military capacity.
Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) was formed in November of 2013 by a merger between the Chinese-government linked firm, Bohai Capital, and a company named Rosemont Seneca Partners. Rosemont Seneca was reportedly formed in 2009 by Hunter Biden, the son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, Chris Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, and others.
After a quick handshake with vice-president Biden, the CEO of Bohai Harvest, Jonathan Li, a business license was approved.
In December of 2014, BHR also reportedly became an investor in China General
Nuclear Power Corp (CGN), is a state-owned energy company involved in building nuclear reactors. This same organization in April of 2016, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) charged CGN with conspiracy to unlawfully engage and participate in the production and development of special nuclear material outside the United States which could cause “significant damage to our national security.”
The most troubling of secret dealings is the acquisition of Henniges by BHR and Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). AVIC was the “biggest Chinese investment into US automotive manufacturing assets to date.” Because the acquisition gave Chinese companies direct control of Henniges’ antivibration technologies, the transaction was reviewed by CFIUS. CFIUS approved the transaction despite reports that in 2007, years before BHR teamed up with AVIC’s subsidiary, AVIC was reportedly involved in stealing sensitive data regarding the Joint Strike Fighter program. AVIC later reportedly incorporated the stolen data into China’s J-20 and J-31 aircraft.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, "The Obama administration ignored the concerns and instead has since promoted the systematic loosening of technology controls on transfers to China." The stolen technology helps the Chinese reduce their radar detection.
While Jed Clampett never would have access to these kind of dealings with the former President, had he, there would have been congressional hearings as to why National Security Issues were compromised. Possibly impeachment proceedings and charges of corruption on the former administration, President, Vice-President, the Secretary of State and their sons.
WECU has been researching congressional records, as well as other documents that lead us to believe that the Obama administration, with the previous vice-president may have compromised national security. Using the family political ties to unduly influence CFIUS for monetary gains.
